I served as an Executive Officer and Staff Judge Advocate for Task Force KOA MOANA 20, I Marine Expeditionary Force. Our Mission included clearing Unexploded Ordnance and expanding runways on the historic WWII Pacific Islands of Peleliu and Angular. As Executive Officer, my job was to stand second in command, serve as liaison to the U.S. Embassy, and synchronize all staff functions. As SJA, my job was to handle all legal matters encountered by the Task Force.
